ITI Newsletter - October 2010

Good morning and welcome to the October edition of the monthly newsletter from Independent Tertiary Institutions (ITI).

ITI is a recognised peak body which represents a number of diverse, high-quality private training establishments around New Zealand. Each month, we look to share a selection of stories from our members highlighting their achievements and the success of their learners.

In this issue, the New Zealand Tertiary College (NZTC) launches a flexible new degree programme which is ideal for people looking to train as Early Childhood Education specialists. Whitecliffe College of Arts and Design will offer eight new scholarships to support students study their prestigious two-year Master of Fine Arts programme.

Innovations at the International Travel College (ITC) were a key factor in their recent success at the 2010 Tourism Industry Awards. New Zealand Management Academies (NZMA) has partnered with off-shore universities to offer truly global career pathways for their graduates. Students from the Media Design School (MDS) have won a sustainability award for their creative on-line work with a community group. Finally, there is a list of upcoming events which are open to the public.
