The Learning Connexion

The business of The Learning Connexion (TLC) is to help people achieve sustainable art and creativity. They offer students holistic education that connects with the realities of their own lives. In achieving this they have created a unique approach that extends beyond the traditional limitations of the “fine arts”.

The Learning Connexion was founded in 1988 in Wellington and has since expanded to also offer distance education in New Zealand and overseas. Courses foster entrepreneurial skills and can lead to careers in painting, sculpture, photography, film-making, illustration, computer graphics, jewellery, theatre and art-related areas such as gallery management, teaching and personal development
